Dronias Hope for the Orphans Ministries is a Christian-based non-profit organization — a mission and a response to the physical and spiritual needs of the growing number of children orphaned by the AIDS epidemic, war, malaria and hunger in Uganda.
We are a faith-based organization of Born-again Pentecostal Christians who believe every child is created in God's image and deserves love, education and a future. Uganda has the largest orphan population per capita of any country in the world, and we are here to make a difference — one child at a time.

Shelter
Land for Shelter
Many of our children have no permanent place to call home. We are purchasing land to build safe, warm shelters where orphans can live, grow and feel loved. A permanent home gives stability, security and dignity to children who have lost everything.

We are acquiring fertile land to grow our own food — maize, beans, vegetables and fruits — so children never go hungry. A sustainable garden reduces food costs, provides daily nutrition and teaches children valuable farming skills for life.

School fees, uniforms, books and supplies keep children in school and out of poverty. An education breaks the cycle of need and opens doors to a productive future. We sponsor children through primary, secondary and vocational training.

Our children need proper classrooms to learn and thrive. We are building new classrooms at Canaan Hill Junior School so every child has a safe, comfortable space to study.
